PROS: Nice spacious room. Nice swimming pool. Nice gym equipment with ping-pong table. Restaurant in the hotel but not cheap accordingto Thailand standards. Breakfast are amazing.
CONS: Not so close to the airport depending on traffic. It is about 7 miles or 11 kms, not 2.5 miles as advertised. There is absolutely nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel, everything is far. The tv plays only local channels, no cable or satellite tv, no streaming apps and not playing USB as the tv is updated. Our sink was clogged. The carpet was wasn't cleaned. Overall I did not really enjoy my 3 days stay in this hotel, mostly because the TV lacks options.

Check-in was smooth. The butler who met us was very nice/friendly and thorough.
Not much choice at the afternoon tea in the Baan Borneo lounge. It was actually quite embarrassing to think that what was there was all they had. They have no alcohol in the lounge during afternoon tea.
Breakfast in the lounge was ok. Portions small but we ordered many different dishes. The buffet offering in the lounge was very limited, especially if you don’t eat meat. The rambutan were extremely dirty. It was so off putting.
Most of the staff were nice but not all. The pool was fine. Nothing special.
I was disappointed with the hotel. It was an attempt at luxury but missed the mark ;(
